8 Epic Video Game Moments That Were TOO EASY

4. Yu Yevon - Final Fantasy X

Final Fantasy X's final boss is Yu Yevon - the much ballyhooed leader of ancient Zanarkand, creator of Sin, and father of Yunalesca.

And while you might assume that Yu Yevon must as such be a totally badass fellow, he in fact turns out to be a pathetic, floating little scarab-like insect.

But he packs a mighty punch, you say? Not quite.

Yu Yevon actually can't kill you because your entire party has a permanent Auto-Life status effect for the "fight," meaning any downed party member will automatically revive with 25% of their maximum HP.

All Yu Yevon does is heal himself, and so whether you end up chipping away at his health over time or find a cheesy way to wipe him in a single turn, there's nothing even remotely satisfying about this.

Now, this is all very much the point - by the time you reach Yu Yevon, he's an ancient, withered husk, with the game's true final boss being Braska's Final Aeon just before.

Even so, for the great many expecting a battle for the ages against Yu Yevon, they were left scratching their heads that he was such a damn pushover.
