8 Most Insane Instances Of Video Game Plot Armour
1. Bullets Do Nothing To Kazuma Kiryu - Like a Dragon
And finally we have Yakuza/Like a Dragon's iconic Kazuma Kiryu, and even with a nickname as badass as the Dragon of Dojima, his survival across the franchise is simply credibility-snapping.
For one, the dude can absorb gunshots like they're nerf pellets - or even, rubber bullets, get it?
Elsewhere he'll fight giant wild animals no problem and even take on a literal 100-man army with his bare hands, enduring through physical straits that would leave dozens of mere mortals dead.
And that's really the cut of it - even accepting the general absurdity of the franchise, Kiryu is simply Too Awesome to Die.
It's a claim that's even more outrageous when you consider that he's only supposed to have horribly maimed most of his victims rather than killed them.
As in, the guy has beaten up about half of Japan's adult population at this point, so should have a whole fleet of folk gunning for him the second he sets foot on any street.
Ironically though, the most dire threat to Kiryu's existence so far has been his recent cancer diagnosis... but does anyone believe that's gonna take the big galoot out?
