8 Terrible Games That Didn't DESERVE Sequels
1. Shaq Fu
And finally we have Shaq Fu, which not merely content to be terrible, just might be one of the worst video games of all time.
As amusing as the prospect of a fighting game starring Shaquille O'Neal might be, Shaq Fu undermines any sense of fun with its maddeningly unresponsive controls, limited move sets, and thoroughly naff animations.
It was so clearly a game created as a cynical branding exercise for its star and nothing more - a title designed to take up shelf space in stores for a few months and then never be heard from again.
But some 24 years later, Shaq Fu returned from the dead with the belated sequel nobody asked for - Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn.
And while this follow-up received a little more praise for its self-aware tone and improved gameplay, it was still dire by any regular metric. In the very least its apparently lukewarm sales should keep us safe from Shaq Fu 3.
