Uncharted: 10 Jaw-Dropping Scenes We Couldn't Believe

Chapter 12 until the conclusion of chapter 15 has Nate frantically searching for Sully, whom he believes has been captured by pirates. Aside from feeling somewhat disjointed from the rest of the game's narrative, the undeniable truth is that the set-piece that occurs when Nate (albeit unintentionally) sinks the ship he ends up on is one of the best set-pieces that can be found on the Playstation 3.

It's simply incredible what one disgruntled man can do, and as Nate guns down countless enemy grunts on his quest to free his friend the immense weight of his actions can be felt when the cruise liner he's on begins to capsize.

Clamboring down lengthy halls, jumping over doorways and climbing over bookshelves to escape the onrushing water is mesmerising. The camera angles keep the gameplay as exciting as the set-piece, as you'll frequently shift from a normal camera view for climbing, and running towards the camera (Crash Bandicoot-style!) to desperately escape the rising water.

When the camera pans around to reveal the damage Nate has caused, you can't help but be impressed not only by his ability to inflict such carnage, but also how significant his commitment to Sully really is.

Fan of ducks, ice tea and escapism. Spends much of his time persistently saying 'I have so much studying to do' before watching Zoey 101 for the millionth time. Thinks Uncharted 3 is the best one.
