World Of Warcraft Classic: 10 Reasons Why J. Allen Brack Was Right

1. An Already-Read Book

All of what I have just mentioned aside – the main problem with Classic WoW is that the players knew too much; they had the game down to a science and would min-max everything so as to progress in the most efficient way possible. But was that really what made WoW fun back in the day?

It seems to me that the players had lost sight of what really made Classic WoW special and had been on the gear treadmill for so long that they did not know how to enjoy the game in any other way.

The excitement of Classic WoW was much the same as that of reading a really good book for the first time. Not knowing what will happen is half the fun, after all, and the second read through is almost never as good as the first.

Ever since I saw BJ grin as he picked up the chain gun in Wolfenstein 3D, I've been hooked on video games. My first love, however, was Counter-Strike 1.3 and I would beg my mom to take me to Internet cafés just so I could play it. The other two games that captured my heart were World of Warcraft and Quake, though I play all sorts of games (especially of the competitive multiplayer type). Oh, and I love dwarves and write fantasy stories about them in my free time.
