2. Go the Distance
http://youtu.be/v9UoP59dHMM There was a time in pro-wrestling when things were simple, when audiences lapped up your atypical character archetypes like big vs. small or good vs. evil. But the I Quit match between Steve Austin and Bret Hart at Wrestlemania is arguably the very moment that black and white changed to a subtle shade of grey. This match represented one of the greatest heel to babyface turns in wrestling history. You might remember that Austin was a bad guy previously to this feud. But in never giving up, in refusing to tap out from Harts sharpshooter until he literally passed out in a pool of his own blood, Austin sparked something deep within the fans. Not only that, he refused to be carried out of the ring, delivering a tidy Stunner to the official that tried to help him. But suddenly, he wasnt bad any more in the traditional sense of the word. He was a badass; a mean son of a bitch with a heart of stone, and almost as if by magic, we all seemed to realise that thats what we wanted in a face: an antihero. Since we know Austin is definitely included in the roster for certain, and were fairly sure that Bret Hart will be included in the final line-up too, Im hoping beyond hope that this match will be a guaran-damn-tee.
