WWE 2K15: 10 Bonuses And Extras We Want As Future DLC
5. The Classic Blue Steel Cage
The Steel Cage Match is one of the most iconic stipulations in wrestling history, but the version of the steel cage we have today is much different than the version many of us grew up with. Instead of chain-link fencing, it was comprised of a grid of blue steel bars that formed a much more menacing enclosure. Not only did the old cage make it easier to see the action inside the ring, but it was a more brutal setup if you look at it realistically. Chain-link fencing has a lot of flexibility, but those steel bars that formed the old cage never budged and inch when someone was thrown into them. The old cage also made it much easier to climb up the wall than today's version, but that detail is more important to actual wrestlers than gamers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4u09Vf2X-Vo The classic cage has been used in some of the past titles, but it hasn't been in very many. This is a very small addition that could be lumped in with some other features as a DLC package or simply released as a free bonus down the line. There were countless classic matches that took place inside the old cage. Reliving those old feuds would feel more real to those who grew up watching them if the actual cage the wrestlers fought inside of was part of the experience.
