The single biggest gameplay question has to be related to the main story mode that 2K will unveil in the next month or so. We've already considered a massive
15 potential storymodes to replace last year's 30 Years Of Wrestlemania as the main story mode this time out, and the single most enticing of all the rumours and fantasy picks so far has to be the suggestion that 2K will focus on the Monday Night Wars.
As we've already stated, facing the WWF (as it was then) off against the WCW would be the only mode that would represent a step up from previous games, and it would also be the right kind of prestigious element to sell the move to next gen consoles. Inevitably, it would also channel the success of the Attitude Mode, which very smartly appealed to a very committed demographic, targeted but not at all limited, which is precisely the dynamic 2K could expect from focusing on the Monday Night Wars.
