With all the controversy surrounding CM Punk's departure from WWE, this could very well be the last time we ever have an official version of CM Punk in a WWE video game. Because of that fact, his Showcase feud with John Cena is going to be something many gamers will be foaming at the mouth to play. Punk and Cena were the two biggest stars in WWE during the last few years of Punk's run, and the matches they had together always stole the show. They are polar opposites, which is probably why their feud was so epic. Punk was the tattooed anti-establishment rebel who fans loved for his honesty and passion for the sport. Cena is the clean-cut company man who is known for his work ethic and babyface image. They were practically tailor-made for each other. The best feuds are always between two people who have absolutely nothing in common, and you couldn't find two wrestlers with less in common than CM Punk and John Cena. Their love for wrestling may be the only thing that makes them similar. Everything else about them is a complete clash of styles and attitude. With 18 matches to play through, this is the largest feud featured in Showcase mode, and it's going to be a great experience to play through many of their now classic encounters.
