9. Triple H Has A Weird Feud With Scott Steiner In 2003
Scott Steiner's debut in WWE in late 2002 was built up as a big deal because he was a huge name from WCW that was in WWE as a tag team wrestler in the mid 1990s. He became more of a star in WCW, so when WWE signed him they pushed him to the top on the Raw brand as a babyface opponent of heel World Champion Triple H. If you look at the feud on paper it wasn't a bad idea because they're big names who didn't wrestle before. Steiner came in on fire, so it was the right time to do it. The problem is they built the feud doing things like arm wrestling, having posedowns, a bench press competition and other things that made fans wonder what they were thinking. Their matches weren't very good either. It was a bad clash of styles. They tried their best, but it just didn't work well at all. Could you imagine playing a wrestling video game where you're having a posedown before your character has to have a big match? It might force kids to turn off the video game and never play it again.
