8. (Almost) Every Big Star Is Available For The WCW Roster
With Sting having finally joined the WWE in the past few weeks, WCW's final main attraction star from the 90s will be available to 2K Games for WWE 2K15. And with his addition, brings with it the tantalising prospect of an accurate roster of all WCW main event stars during the Monday Night Wars. Even just adding Sting to the names used in the last game and the majority of the roster looks complete. Goldberg, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Macho Man Randy Savage, Scott Steiner, The Giant (Big Show), Roddy Piper, Ultimate Warrior and Booker T. Add two further names to it - WWE 2K13 downloadable star Diamond Dallas Page and Lex Luger, who currently works as a Wellness policy consultant and would easily be available to add to the game, and you've got the major stars from the WCW late 90s. Bumping out the mid card the likes of Curt Hennig, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, Billy Kidman, Dean Malenko, Hugh Morrus, Syxx and Lord Regal who have all either appeared in recent WWE games OR currently work for the company in some capacity. And a few extra additions such as Lance Storm and Perry Saturn who would no doubt have no qualms about accepting the paycheque to be included and you've got a full mode on your hands. Add figurehead type talent with Dusty Rhodes, Arn Anderson, Bobby Heenan, Mean Gene Okerlund (3 of whom still work for WWE and Heenan who appeared in the last game) and you've really got the authenticity of what WCW Nitro and PPVs used to be like. Two final names who are just as important as those names above to making WCW portion of the game feel like the actual WCW would be play-by-play commentator Tony Schivaone (who recently did work for WWE for the Network and would easily do this) and Eric Bischoff, who has left TNA and doesn't work for any wrestling organisation and would be attainable. The mode wouldn't really work without Bischoff, and you've got pretty much everyone that every mattered for WCW's Monday Night Wars.
