The Iron Sheik has become somewhat of a social media star in recent years, known for his explicit language, aggressive points of view and frantic outbursts. His recently found internet fame has given the former wrestling star new relevance, while his accomplishments in the WWE are also not to be forgotten, his time as WWF Champion and rivalry with Hulk Hogan stand out as high points. The Iron Sheik has made various appearances on WWE TV in the past decade, which implies the company wouldn't be completely against his inclusion in game-form. WWE 2K14 brought back an impressive amount of wrestling legends from the past for the 30 Years of Wrestlemania Mode, but sadly the Iron Sheik wasn't one of them, due to lack of a standout Wrestlemania moment or match. Given WWE 2K15's focus on feuds and storied rivalries, it could have been a great time to bring back the Sheik to feud with Hulk Hogan, seeing that Hogan already has a spot in the game's roster. The Iron Sheik is a significant wrestling legend and figure who definitely warrants an inclusion in WWE 2K15, if not the next edition.
