Downloadable content. The legal way games companies openly steal from their customers. Essentially, game makers release a game, charge us consumers a lot of money for said game, and then have the nerve to release downloadable content, charging us even more money on top of what we've already paid. Content that should have arguably been included in the game to start with. Shouldn't it be free? It's only ethical. There was a number of downloadable options in the game last year, one of which included a season pass that had Paige as it's main selling point. Arguably the biggest name in the Divas division not being included in the initial game really exposed what the DLC packs are really for. Profit. There was three additional showcase modes released, with 'One More Match' depicting Christian and Randy Orton's rivalry from 2011; Mark Henrys 'Hall of Pain' and 'Path of the Warrior' featuring WWE Hall of Famer Ultimate Warrior. Each showcase appealed to a different demographic which was bound to make them money spinners in their own right. All three cost $9.99 to buy and supplemented the existing showcase modes on the game: 'Hustle, Loyalty, Disrespect', which focused on the rivalry of John Cena and CM Punk from 2011-2013 and 'Best Friends, Bitter Enemies', which chronicled the rivalry between Triple H and Shawn Michaels from 2002-2004.
