WWE 2K17: 10 Desired Wrestlers Who Won't Be In The Game

1. Shinsuke Nakamura

Timing. This one will come down to timing. The boffins at 2K have used this line before while fielding questions about the Four Horsewomen's exclusion from 2K16, so there's a chance they could do so again.

Nakamura officially signed his first WWE contract on February 21, the night of that utter travesty of a show that was Fastlane. This means the window for 2K to create his character model and mock up his moveset is a small one.

However, with Shinsuke emerging as one of the biggest names in wrestling over the last few years, as well as taking NXT by storm, maybe the powers that be will have made a special effort to get him in the game. He's probably the most in-demand character for this year's title...

The King Of Strong Style's place in the basic game is very much in demand from an NXT Universe that he has well and truly captivated since debuting at TakeOver: Dallas in that classic against Sami Zayn. In a few months time, when he should be a mainstay in the upper card of either RAW or SmackDown, the rest of the WWE Universe will be similarly as in love as developmental fans are.

Surely the three-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion will be a downloadable character at the very least... at the very, very least.
