Simply put, the Hardy Boyz won't be included in the new title as they are contracted to TNA. We won't be able to have The Dudleys vs. The Hardys in WWE 2K17... that's a shame isn't it?
Both Matt and Jeff penned new Impact contracts this year, so they will be plying their respective trades in a six-sided ring for the foreseeable future. Both have gone on the record to say that they would be open to a WWE return, and with the brand extension heightening the need for reinforcements in the tag team ranks, there's more than a slither of hope they could be in a game down the road...
Until they are no longer with Dixie Carter, there's no chance we'll get to see them in any WWE game - even if they are getting introduced to a new generation of WWE fans through constant mentions on shows like Edge and Christian's That Totally Reeks Of Awesomeness...
We all still love The Hardys, right?
