WWE 2K17: 10 Forgotten Things You Can Still Do
3. Elimination Chamber - Hidden OMG Moments
The elimination chamber is a yearly fixture now for the WWE calendar, and for the WWE 2K series as been in the game since WWE Here Comes the Pain over 10 years ago. And that's sort of where the problem lies.
In over 10 years, practically no dramatic changes have been made to this gametype. A couple of cool things have been included over the years such as spearing people through the elimination chamber pod like Goldberg did to Jericho, but ultimately this PS4/XB1 game has gone through two generations of consoles without any major input in that time.
It's a match type that's in need of a major overhaul. But with the new engine came the added benefit the OMG grapple moves, such as suicide dives and planchas. Despite them not officially working in the game as an OMG moment, they are still in the game as regular moves for movesets too. This means in an elimination chamber match you can pull off some really weird but really incredible moves.
The Suicide DDT, Suicide Spear, and even Kevin Owen's Apron Powerbomb can all be nailed onto the unforgiving steel, despite there being no apron in an elimination chamber match. Looks absolutely hilarious too.
