WWE 2K17: 10 Superstars Who Could Return To The Franchise
5. Tommy Dreamer
A superstar that made a triumphant return to a real life WWE ring last winter to help The Dudley Boyz take down the Wyatts. Even though he has many fingers in many pies at the moment, there's a chance he could be back on WWE's main roster in the coming weeks and months. If The Innovator of Violence does so, he could be back in a WWE game for the first time in six years after last appearing in SmackDown Vs. RAW 2010.
Dreamer himself confirmed that he was supposed to be involved with SmackDown Live's draft a couple of weeks ago but things changed. However, the possibility of the ECW great making a return to a WWE ring on a more consistent basis is still there, even if most of his time is taken up by his House of Hardcore promotion.
With HOH shows running throughout October it's hard to see where a WWE schedule would fit into Tommy's undoubtedly stacked calendar. However, the fact he didn't close the door on a return and that circumstances surrounding that draft merely "changed" suggests one could still happen very soon.
