A cornerstone of the inaugural Cruiserweight Classic and a superstar who has reportedly already signed a full-time WWE contract to be part of the new Cruiserweight division on Monday Night RAW, Tajiri could be one of the favourites to land a spot in WWE 2K17 from this illustrious list.
If WWE are intending to do their new cruiserweight division correctly, they need to hire a couple of experienced hands to guide the younger members of the roster through their tricky early days on the road with the main roster. Tajiri has already proven with his wily debut on the Cruiserweight Classic that he is a must.
The inclusion of any Cruiserweight, never mind Tajiri, is an issue in itself. With the Cruiserweight Classic only starting three weeks ago there's a chance that none of the big hitters from the tournament and potential Cruiserweight Division contenders will make the cut. It will all depend on when the tournament's roster was completed and if the decision makers for the new game wanted the high-flyers to be in there.
If they are, Tajiri should make the cut for a WWE game for the first time in 11 titles. Not a moment too soon either...
