WWE 2K19: 10 Leading Contenders To Be Cover Star
5. Shinsuke Nakamura
Or, maybe 2K will want to keep John Cena's cover appearance for a special edition and promote someone newer to WWE instead.
Shinsuke Nakamura's dynamic entrance routine is ideal. Bathed in red lighting and posing like WWE's own version of Michael Jackson, the Japanese star would look resplendent on the 2K19 cover. He also comes with the added advantage of appealing worldwide rather than solely to a casual WWE audience.
Nakamura may well be WWE Champion by the time 2K19 is released, and that means he'd be a bigger deal to those casual viewers too. Combine that growing celebrity with an almost God-like status amongst wrestling fans who watch the industry as a whole and Naka gracing the box feels like a winner.
Seeing footage of live crowds singing along to his entrance music in ads would be exciting, and putting it together wouldn't be a stretch for 2K pre-release. Go on, give someone totally fresh a chance to see themselves immortalised in video game history, WWE.
