WWE 2K19 Ratings: 10 Superstar Ratings That Make No Sense
2. Seth Rollins
Rating: 88
Why It Makes No Sense: Yes, the internet has whipped itself up into a considerable frenzy over Rollins’ rating, but that doesn't change the fact that it makes no sense. No matter from which angle one attempts to view this, Seth Rollins is rated dangerously low, especially when one takes into account the incredibly high standards he’s set in 2018.
From a kayfabe point of view, Rollins was seen “carrying” Jason Jordan to the tag titles before entering the most fascinating run of any superstar we’ve seen in a long time. He had already put in an admirable performance at the Royal Rumble, and then shocked the world with his hour-long performance in a gauntlet match on RAW, pinning both Roman Reigns and John Cena… clean. He then went on to have the best Intercontinental Championship reign in recent memory in terms of in-ring work, consistently putting on match-of-the-night performances.
From a “smarky” point of view, Rollins literally has it all. He’s arguably the best in-ring performer on RAW (maybe even in the whole company), can hold his own on the mic and is naturally charismatic. It could even be argued that Seth Rollins has had a better year than any other main roster superstar.
So why exactly is he rated below his Shield stablemate Roman Reigns and WWE posterboy John Cena?
A far more appropriate rating for Seth Rollins would be one directly on par with fellow workhorse AJ Styles (91). Please Vince, just let them have a match against each other.
