Think of MyRise as a revamped MyCareer and you'll be on the right lines.

2K are promising players the chance to "start from the bottom as a wide-eyed Rookie eager to make an impact in the ring, and make the right connections behind-the-scenes". All sounds fairly standard, yes? Sure, but that "right connections behind the scenes" line stands out.

It might hint that characters like Vince McMahon, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon etc will be involved somehow. Or, it could just suggest that wrestlers will form alliances with others for tag-team storylines - either one works, but it'd be nice to see a little more behind-the-curtain depth.

There will also be separate storylines for male and female CAWs, which is a nice touch. 2K20's MyCareer was an unrealistic take on WWE life that all came across as more 'Ready To Rumble' than 'Breaking Ground'. Finally, 2K are teasing unique career paths for babyfaces and heels too.
