One thing common among a lot of the released stars is that they were part of the infamous post-WrestleMania budget cuts in April. Bray Wyatt was released in July, so why do so many of the April releases get a spot on 2K22 but the Fiend doesn't?

One of the best character wrestlers of this generation and yet constantly misused by the powers backstage, Bray Wyatt carved out a legacy for himself within WWE with 3 of the best gimmicks during his tenure: the backwoods cultist, the deranged kids' show host, and the Fiend. All three were successful, and two were featured in WWE games.

The Fiend was 2K20's pre-order bonus, one of the best parts of the entire game as the character had only just made its debut. The entrance, moveset and model were the best in the entire game and we were all looking forward to revisiting him for the next game. Tragically, it's something that we'll never see again in the single biggest snub of the game's otherwise great roster.
