3. SURPRISE - William Regal
It was welcome news that William Regal was an option for MyGM - and a pleasant surprise to see he'd be playable as a member of the active roster.
Following a long career on WWE's main roster, the former King of the Ring became general manager of the black & gold NXT brand, becoming a beloved figure both on and off-screen. Those are reasons why his release following the tie-dye NXT rebrand was not unexpected but no less disappointing.
Regal is a sure-fire Hall of Famer and one of the most talented wrestlers that England has ever produced. He's also not been in a WWE game since 2K16, so a final place on our dream match cards with some of today's top guys is a privilege.
