Ending on a more positive note: the excellent news that Braun Strowman is back for one more game!

Strowman's first year or two aside, The Monster Among Men had the brightest future in WWE. He won fans over with his squash matches, insane shows of strength and general demolition of anyone he wasn't finished with. He took part in only the second steel cage match in WrestleMania history and a great triple threat at Backlash before becoming the most unexpected release in 2021's rounds of spring cleaning. The man who was once pegged to be one of the faces of the company was suddenly wished the best for his future endeavours.

Fans were concerned that 2K22's roster would be completely nerfed by the rampant releases throughout 2021, and while some names were expected to be cut, the fact that Strowman is still part of the game is a massive sigh of relief. Be honest with yourselves: would you rather play as Strowman who was among the most entertaining WWE stars of the last 5 years, or as Omos who has the wrestling ability of a grandfather clock?

Give us Braun any day.
