If WWE are looking to go all in on this NXT Japan venture, they must include Meiko Satomura in WWE 2K22.

Satomura's Sendai Girls company is rumoured to be WWE's go-to promotion to get their latest NXT branch underway, with her recent NXT UK debut and subsequent impressive run making this seem all the more likely. She didn't need to win the NXT UK Women's Championship from Kay Lee Ray; Meiko being in the match was exciting in its own right.

You have to look at it this way. When NXT UK was hot off the press in 2018, the company opted to include Tyler Bate and then-United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne in WWE 2K19. The game officially released on 9 October of that year, whereas NXT UK premiered its debut episode on 17 October, just eight days after the game hit shelves.

The same scenario would only benefit WWE in the long run if they do intend to create NXT Japan. Satomura has the name value to be the face of the brand, but her inclusion in the video game is pivotal to this. She's a must-have this year, just like Dunne and Bate were in 2018.
