WWE 2K22: 10 Wrestlers Who Could Make Their Franchise Debut
9. Karrion Kross
And, by association, Scarlett as an in-game manager.
Your writer will happily admit that including Karrion Kross on this list isn't just because he's a cracking wrestler and the current NXT Champion at the time of writing. His entrance would no doubt look mesmerising when recreated in a video game, so long as it looks graphically right.
Furthermore, the former Killer Kross has a stellar moveset. His Doomsday Saito and running forearm are both killer manoeuvres (pun very much intended), with the Doomsday Saito, in particular, being an enticing move to players. Dropping your friends neck-first on a ladder with that move to end a banger of a match between the pair of you would make for some screams of enthusiasm coming from bedrooms.
That he's currently holding the NXT Championship means that his inclusion is far likelier. The cutoff date for WWE games' rosters is typically around WrestleMania, with Kross having won the title from Finn Balor during the week of 'Mania 37. The NXT Champion at the time of the game's release has been featured as a playable character ever since WWE 2K15, aside from Tommaso Ciampa in WWE 2K19.
If that doesn't confirm Kross will be in the game, nothing will.
