WWE 2K22: 10 Wrestlers Who Could Make Their Franchise Debut
2. Kay Lee Ray
Kay Lee Ray is over 600 days deep into her reign as NXT UK Women's Champion. She's seen off challenges from Piper Niven, Toni Storm, Jinny, and Meiko Satomura, providing some absolute corkers in the process. She's one of the most consistent acts on NXT UK, and perhaps across the whole of WWE.
She's earned her spot on WWE 2K22's roster.
If she isn't included, it would be a legitimate missed opportunity by WWE. Although they're not pushing their United Kingdom brand as much as they once did, they still have to accommodate them. 2K20 had handful of NXT UK grapplers, but that was two years ago. 2K22 is going to be an entirely different beast that needs a roster boosted with fighters from every WWE brand (yes, even you, 205 Live).
Again, like WALTER, she was the champion at the time of 2K20's release, albeit only winning it a few weeks before the game hit shelves. That she's still in the midst of her reign suggests that she's going to be included if WWE are still keen on maintaining their game is as up-to-date as possible upon its initial release.
