After rising to stardom in a short amount of time in WWE, and even gracing the cover of 2K19, AJ Styles remains one of the best wrestlers to play as in 2K22. At a 91 overall, The Phenomenal One lives up to his nickname as one of the highest rated players in the game.

With one of the most well rounded movesets in all of WWE, playing as AJ Styles is so much more than just basic strikes, kicks and combinations. With his signatures moves of a springboard 450, Calf Crusher as well as the finishers of the Phenomenal Forearm and immaculate Styles Clash, there are endless ways to win a match as AJ.

While Styles may not be the highest rated wrestler in the game, nobody ranked above him has as creative and fun to play with moveset. The likes of Roman Reigns and John Cena tend to stick to one style of offense, where the former TNA standout excels in nearly every offensive category.
