3. MyFACTION Can Be Played Online
Though MyGM was more anticipated, MyFACTION was also added to the franchise in WWE 2K22, allowing players to create a faction that rivals the legendary nWo. This involved collecting Superstar cards, managing and upgrading them along the way with weekly events; it was, in essence, the MyTEAM mode from 2K's NBA series.
The mode will be back in WWE 2K23 with one major change - online multiplayer!
Players can now prove their worth against not only the iconic faction originally helmed by Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall, but also that of rival players' factions. The basis remains the same; collect the superior cards for ultimate faction dominance.
In WWE 2K22, MyFACTION allowed the developers to add alternate character models to the game, many of whom were locked exclusively to this mode before some were added as regular playable characters, owing to increased fan demand. Among them were a modern-day version of Shawn Michaels, T-BAR's unmasked Dominik Dijakovic persona, and King of the Ring models for both Baron Corbin and Booker T. Expect this to remain with WWE 2K23.
A handful of high-calibre MyFACTION cards have already been confirmed for pre-ordering the three versions of WWE 2K23, including Bad Bunny, John Cena, Edge, Bianca Belair, and Paul Heyman cards.
