Xbox One: 10 Biggest Mistakes Microsoft Have Made So Far
5. Xbox One X Won't Change Anything
If everything Microsoft tells us about the Xbox One X ends up being true, it's certainly going to be an impressive console. As powerful and shiny as the Xbox One X may end up being, it doesn't fix the problems that currently plague the Xbox One.
Developers seem to be under the impression that what consumers crave nowadays is more power and better graphics over quality gameplay. This issue isn't exclusive to Microsoft either, with PlayStation releasing their own mid-generation upgrade with the PlayStation 4 Pro.
No matter the strength of the console and how much better it can make the graphics look, the fact of the matter is that the Xbox One X won't change anything for Microsoft. As it stands now, the biggest problem that the Xbox One has is a complete lack of enticing exclusives. The Xbox One X may be able to beef up the existing ones like Halo 5 and Sunset Overdrive, but it doesn't seem like it'll be doing anything more for future titles.
Overall, it seems like Microsoft are throwing their hat into the wrong ring with the Xbox One X, and should instead focus on actually bringing games to the table.
