Xbox One: 10 Biggest Mistakes Microsoft Have Made So Far
6. Performance Issues
The Nintendo Switch (and Nintendo in general really) has shown that having powerful performance isn't always the most important aspect in a console. Despite this, the Xbox One almost never matches up to its competition in this aspect.
This is important because the Xbox One is a console that prides itself on graphics and performance, as seen with the upcoming release of the Xbox One X - the "most powerful console ever". This is ironic considering the fact that many third-party games available on the Xbox One run at a lower resolution than on the PlayStation 4.
Even first party titles like Sunset Overdrive and Dead Rising 4 fail to exceed 900p, which is confusing because it seems like only certain titles have the problem, with no obvious reason for why this would be the case. What this means for the Xbox One is a state of uncertainty regarding performance, no matter the game that's released.
