6. The Design Is Fantastic

"Let’s start with the basics. I’m really impressed and surprised at how much power Microsoft has managed to squeeze into the Xbox One X’s small case. While the original Xbox One was a big, black box about the size of an old-school VCR, the Xbox One X matches the impressive design of the Xbox One S." - The Verge
"If you’ve never seen a One S before, the Xbox One X is a rectangular box the size of a large Blu-ray player that’s coated with a matte space grey color. It’s a far cry from the bulky VHS player-stylings of the original Xbox One, and the design only becomes more impressive when you consider what’s under the hood." - Techradar
"The console measures 30 x 24 x 6 cm (11.8 x 9.5 x 2.4 inches), which technically makes it the smallest Xbox console yet. This is really impressive when you consider the fact that it has an integrated power supply unit, like the Xbox One S before it. This means that you don't have to deal with an obnoxiously large external power brick like with the original Xbox One." - Gamespot

It's borderline-insane how incredibly well-designed the One X is, packing such a ludicrous amount of hardware into such a small unit, all the more so considering how bulky the original Xbox One was.

There's a pretty consistent sentiment of bafflement among critics, who largely deem the form factor a jaw-dropping work of technical engineering, though hopefully its tightly-packed nature isn't to blame for reports of some day-one units failing after just a few hours of use.
