1. Scarlett Systems Will Launch In Fall 2020

The consensus among analysts is that both Scarlett platforms will be launched in the fall of 2020, and if the previous generation is any indication, it will most likely be in November 2020.

Of course, it's entirely possible that Microsoft could release a month or two sooner than that in order to avoid Sony beating them to the punch with the PS5, so don't be surprised if it ends up launching as early as September of next year.

Sony's response either way sure will be interesting, and if Microsoft's unveiling is as aggressive and consumer-friendly as it seems to be on paper, then this could end up the most fiercely-contested gaming generation ever.

Competition is a wonderful thing and everybody loves an underdog, so fingers are crossed that Microsoft delivers on all of their clear promise.
