10 Horror Sequels That Were Just Confirmed

Now here's a sequel just about nobody saw coming.

Legendary horror filmmaker Larry Fessenden has a number of creature features in his back catalogue - perhaps most notably the 1997 vampire movie Habit, 2019's Frankenstein-themed Depraved, and finally the 2023 werewolf movie Blackout.

But Fessenden just revealed that he recently wrapped shooting a secret sequel to all three films called Trauma - or in its full title, "Trauma Or, Monsters All."

In a statement, Fessenden called the film a "contemporary mash-up," while confirming that the leads from Habit, Depraved, and Blackout - Fessenden himself, Alex Breaux, and Alex Hurt respectively - would reprise their respective roles.

Trauma will also reunite Fessenden with many other actors from his prior projects, most notably Addison Timlin, Joshua Leonard, and Barbara Crampton.

While few expected Fessenden to make a triple-sequel to his original trilogy of monster movies, considering his sturdy track record as a master low-budget horror filmmaker, he should in the very least serve up something interesting.
