3. Under Paris - An Incomparable Natural Disaster
Even by the standards of the shark movie, Under Paris is completely crazy, and it features what might be the maddest ending to any shark movie.
Under Paris' shark, named Lilith, is a mutated beast that is able to reproduce asexually through pathenogenesis, meaning that there is soon an army of mutant sharks in the River Seine. The main characters detonate some bombs to try and destroy Lilith and her offspring, but they only succeed in killing some of the sharks and, worse still, flooding Paris in a manmade tsunami, which would probably have killed thousands of people.

As the end credits imply, Lilith's offspring are multiplying at an exponential rate and colonizing the world's rivers, meaning that this is an unparalleled disaster that's going exact a catastrophic death-toll all across the globe. Not only is this potentially the craziest shark movie ending ever, it might just be the bleakest too.
A sequel, directed by French horror maestro Alexandre Aja, is on the way, so we shouldn't have to wait too much longer to see what happens next.
