6. Obsession 2
Obsession has been a success beyond anyone's wildest expectations, recently crossing the $500 million mark on a mere $750,000 budget, in turn becoming the highest-grossing live-action original film of the 2020s. And, of course, such success swiftly ignited discussions of a sequel, and though Curry Barker initially played it coy, stating that he was mulling over potential options, more recently he expressed a firmer commitment to getting Obsession 2 made.
In a June interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Barker said that he had "such a cool idea" for the sequel, and while it's not in his immediate plans, what with his new film Anything but Ghosts and in-development take on The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Barker stated that he didn't intend to leave fans waiting years and years for it.
Barker certainly seems to work fast if his current trajectory is any indication, so don't be surprised if we get a standalone Obsession follow-up within the next five years.
