Onslaught is the new movie from the great Adam Wingard, and after spending years working on franchises such as Blair Witch and Godzilla vs. Kong, it'll be great to see him back in the more confined, modest genre film arena.
In Onslaught, Adria Arjona stars as a mother living in a trailer park who is forced to defend her family after a dangerous threat escapes from a nearby military facility - said threat apparently being a deadly experimental super-soldier called The Butcher (Alex Pereira).
Adria Arjona has built up an enviable filmography in recent years, demonstrating her penchant for playing gutsy, complicated heroes - especially in Hit Man and Andor - and with Onslaught being described as a "gonzo action horror thriller," it should provide one hell of a platform for her to deliver a ferocious mama bear performance.
