20 Upcoming Horror Movies That Made PERFECT Casting Choices

16. Margot Robbie - Attack Of The 50 Foot Woman

In early 2024, it was reported that the great Tim Burton and Gone Girl writer Gillian Flynn were teaming up to develop a remake of the classic 1958 sci-fi horror film Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, and the title role was later announced to be played by Margot Robbie.

Even ignoring the fact that Robbie literally played a giantess in the iconic opening sequence of Barbie, she's certainly got the winning combination of glamour and genuine screen presence to have an absolute ball with the role of a wealthy heiress who gets turned giant by aliens.

It'll certainly be interesting to see how Burton and Flynn reinvent the original story for modern audiences, but with Robbie also set to produce under her own LuckyChap banner, it's fair to say she'll have a decent level of input.

No matter how it all turns out, especially with late-career Burton being rather uneven, in the very least Robbie's casting is absolutely beyond reproach.
