10 Albums From Famous Artists NOT On Streaming Services

2. De La Soul - The Majority Of Their Discography

The American hip-hop trio De La Soul are one of the few remaining artists with the majority of their music not on streaming services. While absentees Taylor Swift or The Beatles held out for years, eventually their full discographies were uploaded to Spotify. This is not the case for De La Soul, but it would be an event of cultural significance if it ever did. The only albums you can stream are their 2004 album The Grind Date, along with their 2016 crowdfunded album And The Anonymous Nobody...

According to the New Yorkers, the samples on their legendary 20th century albums would have to be cleared. There is more than 70 samples on their debut album alone, so 3 Feet High and Rising will have to remain on your physical mixtapes for now. Remember those?

Warner Bros. currently own the majority of their master tapes, and are yet to comment on the issue.

The band are still touring to this day, where they can perform their greatest hits. So instead of streaming why don't you go to a gig for for a change? It pays better.

Still, De La Soul have kept the streaming money rolling in, with a series of high profile featured appearances including Gorillaz and Tom Misch.
