10 Alternative Rock Music Videos You've Never Seen

5. Twisted Transister - Korn

By the time the mid-2000s rolled around, music videos were getting bigger and sillier. Budgets were huge and concepts didn't always live up to the financial backing they boasted. Korn rarely failed to deliver, though. They certainly didn't have any issue making fun of themselves - always a good sign when it comes to making a decent video.

Twisted Transister was no different. Filmed in a rockumentary style, each band member was played by a famous rapper. Lil Jon, David Banner, Xzibit and Snoop Dogg all channeled members of the group, as they embarked on a promotional campaign. The original version was barely four minutes long and only hinted at the hilarity of the original. The extended version included far more scenes of the group getting into all kinds of debauched rock star nonsense.

Many of the characters parodied were well known individuals from the music business. Legendary producer, Rick Rubin received a nod, as well as music journalist veteran, Nardwuar the Human Serviette. Among the highlights we see Xzibit projectile vomit; Snoop Dogg shred the guitar and Lil Wayne duke it out with Jonathan Davis about artistic integrity.
