10 Amazing Covers By Music Artists You Didn't Expect

1. Bulls On Parade - Denzel Curry

Rage Against The Machine are a a band that nobody would expect to be covered, let alone well.

From the 1992 self-titled album to 2000's Renegades, the band has put out a litany of fantastic songs, each with an intensity that few artists have replicated. Their most well-known track, 'Killing in the Name' caught heat for its 2009 Christmas Number 1 campaign, but the song that is easily the second most popular is one that has seen a number of different covers.

'Bulls on Parade' has been reimagined by artists like Parkway Drive and the aforementioned Machine Gun Kelly, but the best take on the incredible track came from Denzel Curry on Australian radio station, Triple J.

The Florida-born rapper is the last person anyone would expect to cover Rage Against The Machine's classic Evil Empire track, but he brings an energy that few could ever have imagined. It's sharper, more cutting, and somehow the vocals feel more intense. It's more passionate and angry than Zack de la Rocha's original recording.

Denzel Curry has made it a regular occurrence to put out great music, but with most of it being firmly in the hip-hop genre, his cover of 'Bulls on Parade' was a shock.
