10 Amazing Hidden Tracks On Classic Albums

8. All By Myself - Green Day

There was always a bit of tongue in cheek humor to almost everything Green Day has done. Even with some songs like Basket Case talking about some pretty dark subject matter, the Dookie era of the group was much more informed by their bratty aesthetic, almost like they were the kid that sat next to you in middle school who never fully grew up. Billie Joe might have been the brains behind the group, but the very last seconds of the album ends with Tre Cool's comedy hour.

Whereas most people tend to stop listening right after the last chord of FOD fades out, the album continues with a few minutes of silence and ambient noise before Tre picks up a guitar in the studio. Though All By Myself is technically a love song, the whole mindset behind it is a lot more gross than you might imagine, with Tre talking about crushing on this girl, breaking into her house when she's not home and then (maybe) pleasuring himself at the end of things.

While this might not be nearly as funny as a song like Dominated Love Slave from the album before, Tre definitely is going for something a little more lighthearted here, with the rest of the band even getting in on the fun with the super high harmonies at the very end of the track. Since this was our first taste of what pop punk was going to be, it's nice to at least have a little bit humor to leave us on instead of just cutting themselves off.
