There are usually two types of Green Day fans when it comes to Warning: either they think it's a masterpiece, or they don't care about it that much. Looking back on this record, this is where things started to really turn a corner for the bratty punk kids from the Bay, going for a more adult sound that they would refine once they got to American Idiot. When they needed that little something extra for Blood Sex Booze, they got something dirty, rough, and a lot of pain for one unlucky intern.

Since the entire song is supposed to be an ode to the pleasures of S&M, Tre Cool invited some friends that he knew who were known to engage in some of that behavior from time to time.
