10 Amazing Songs That Artists Hate

7. The Entire One by One Album - Foo Fighters

The beginning of the '00s was not all that kind to the Foo Fighters. After finishing off their third outing There is Nothing Left to Lose as a trio, Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins started to butt heads after Grohl took some time off to play in Queens of the Stone Age. Once they were in the studio though, all of the traditional rock energy went flying out the window.

As work started on One by One, Grohl found himself out of step with the rest of the guys, with everyone getting more bitter with each passing day. Though Hawkins and Grohl eventually reconciled after going on the road, the resulting album that they made had to be re-recorded, with One by One being the remnants of those jam sessions. While this album does sport amazing tracks like All My Life and Times Like These, it's still not a record that Grohl is interested in revisiting.

Speaking in depth on the matter, Grohl has stated that it was difficult to separate the songs from the dark time that they were in when making it. Despite turning All My Life into a concert staple, Grohl hasn't minced words about the rest of the album feeling rushed in an attempt to just get it done and move on. For a band that has never wanted to break anybody's hearts, One by One still remains a sore wound in the world of Foo.
