The legendary status of Jimmy Page needs no introduction. He is considered by many to be one of rock n roll's finest musicians, as he was one of the first guitarists to truly shred the guitar with face melting solos (Jimi Hendrix aside, of course). His riffs are legendary and he is perhaps one of the most respected names in the industry. But, before you go ahead and starting singing too much praise about him, there is the little known fact that he once kidnapped a 14 year old girl for the purposes of sex, and kept her behind closed doors €“ in an attempt to avoid jail time, for three years. In 1972 Page was hanging around a club when 14 year old Lori Maddox caught his attention. Knowing she was probably underage, Page decided not to approach her himself but instead asked his roadie to grab her and take her back to his place. He then preceded to have sex with her, keeping her behind locked doors for three years to avoid anyone finding out about their €œrelationship€ as it would most likely have led to jail time (with good reason). No charges were ever filed against him as Maddox claimed that despite her treatment and forced isolation; she fell in love with him and was content with the situation.
