10 Artists Who Need To Make A Comeback

6. Pink Floyd

We are pretty much secure in the fact that this reunion will never happen. For one, keyboardist Rick Wright passed away in 2008. For another, Roger Waters and David Gilmour seem to hate each other with enough energy to run a small city. But when they have gotten together, it's been some of the most talked-about events in music history. The one time the full band reunited was at the Live 8 concert in 2005. But they have arguably as dedicated a following as the Grateful Dead ever had. Floyd fans are ravenous, and whenever a major festival is upcoming, there's always the talk of a reunion. Thought there is no replacing Wright, the three surviving members still have their trademark strengths: Gilmour's bended-note solos, Waters' thoughtful lyrics, and Nick Mason's steady presence on drums. Surely they still have another album's worth of music at their disposal?
