10 Artists Who Openly Dissed Their Fans
2. Dave Grohl Stops the Fight
Ever since the beginnings of the Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl has always been known as one of the most genuine frontmen to ever walk the Earth. Even though he can make an entire stadium bounce to the lyrics of Best of You or My Hero, Grohl has always come off like some random nice guy who just so happens to be the emcee of one of the greatest parties in the world. Then again, if you're fighting, it's not like you're going to get off that easy.
During an acoustic break in one of the Foos' shows, Grohl was about midway through the song Skin and Bones when he comes across two guys fighting in the middle of the crowd. As much as Grohl might seem nice, he wasn't taking any prisoners that night, calling out this guy before he finally looked at him. By the time the guy can finally realize what's going on, Grohl ejects him out of the show in the best way possible, saying that fans come to his show to dance, not fight.
Even his response to the applause is a lot more genuine than you might expect, as he rejects any praise so he can just get on with the rest of the show. Dave Grohl may be one of the nicer men in the rock genre, but sometimes that's just a facade that's hiding the real animal within.
