10 Artists Who Refused To Be In The Rock And Roll Music Hall Of Fame
7. Diana Ross
When the Supremes were nominated for their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the remaining two members were having a nasty feud. This feud had been going on for years and was a very big 'she said he said" matter where Mary Wilson had written an unflattering portion of her memoir about the singer Diana Ross.
Wilson managed to show her face at the award, but Ross opted out, staying at home with her newly born son Ross. the two singers still do not communicate with Wilson, saying that they will 'be sisters until the day that they die' but that 'sisters sometimes don't talk for a while.' Diana hasn't been as vocal about the matter, but her silence is loud enough.
Despite the drama, the Supremes are still members of the Hall of Fame, celebrating 22 years of fantastic music and a very successful trio of singers. Over the years, the women achieved 12 number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100. These women earned their spot in the Hall of Fame but, couldn't look past their differences.
