10 Awesome Taylor Swift Songs That Aren't About Guys

What It's About: Forgetting Your Problems For Just One Night I cant think of anyone who wouldnt want to be best friends with Taylor in this song. In 22, Taylor describes the perfect summer that you probably had full intention of having, but promptly abandoned for your PJs and a Friends marathon, instead of actually going out with your real buddies. With birthday cake and beach parties and Raybans and cute bowler hats, Taylor is living the wacky, carefree lifestyle that every twenty two year old dreams of, when in reality theyre probably in their dorm room crying into last years mock exam paper. The reason why this fun-loving party anthem makes the list though is that Taylor isnt afraid to "get real" with lyrics like were happy, free, confused and lonely at the same time and its miserable and magical to highlight that its not all fun and games being young and that theres a point where you start to grow up and have existential crises trying to figure out what you want to do with your life. The best thing about 22 though is that Taylor encourages you to have fun and let loose for just one night and put everything on hold, de-stress and forget about the deadlines.
Lucie mostly enjoys long walks on the beach and short walks to the fridge, while dabbling in a little bit of writing here and there. The quickest way to her heart is probably through chocolate, laughing at her terrible jokes and sappy electronic music... but handing her a cheque for £1 million would probably work too.
