10 AWFUL Albums By Legendary Bands

5. Kings Of Leon - Come Around Sundown (2010)

Kings Of Leon have all the makings of a legendary band. The drums are heavy, the bass licks vibrate through you like a pneumatic drill and the lead guitar acts as both a back-up vocalist and, at times, a powerful wall of distortion which cuts you to the core. Not only that, but the cherry on top is Caleb Followill's unique vocals and charming southern drawl.

Although these things are present in the opening 2 songs of the album (The End & Radioactive), the rest of the album disappoints and is starved of any creativity or moments of iconic Kings Of Leon which they are adored for.

It very much feels like they put all their ideas and best riffs in the opening 2/3 songs and tried to piece together an album with whatever was left on the cutting floor.

Worst Song: Mi Amigo

The song is what You've Got A Friend In Me would have sounded like had Randy Newman written it in a hazy strip club whilst knocking back shots of whiskey.

Worst Lyrics (Mi Amigo): I got a friend/Helps me to get up again/Showers me in boozes/Tells me I got a big old d***/And she wants my a** home
